I hate myself for loving you.
Had an eventful Friday afternoon with my lovely friends at City Square, Johor Bahru. The trio finally reunite once again! I would say planning an outing with both of them is really a challenging task, it's either the timing isn't right OR we can't agree on the places to go/the movies to watch. The last time we hung out together was about 3 years ago? Next, deciding where to eat is also a pain in the neck. We literally spent half an hour walking around the shopping complex deciding on where to eat before settling down in a Japanese restaurant. I was impressed to see the newly renovated shopping mall with more eateries and shops. My best friend wanted to watch 'Believe' which I strongly objected ended up watching 'Delivery Man' which was pretty funny. :DHere's a picture of us at the Skypark.
Yes, we were burning under the hot sun just for the so-called perfect lighting. I think we were the only oddballs who were willing to sit on the bench under the hot sun.
Spent the night with my family at a Korean restaurant - Uncle Jang @ Taman Nusa Bestari, Johor Bahru, Johor. Always wanted to try this shop out as people are always posting photos of the food and complimenting how good it is. And instead of always eating out at Chinese coffee shops or restaurants, my dad decided to bring us to Uncle Jang for a change. The picture of the food below is their signature dish called Dak Galbi. We ordered 3 person's portion and the spiciness for one person as my dad haven't fully recovered from his sickness that week.
And the next picture below is the Dak Galbi with additional ramen.
After finishing up everything, my brother concluded that he wasn't full and we ordered Chicken Bulgogi which was oh-so-yummeh. Oh and it's a halal shop btw, they don't serve pork. For those who have not tried out Uncle Jang, I would recommend you all to try it out.
